Class of ’74: Still Stardust After All These Years

15th June 2026

A group of former Neale‑Wade students who reached their 70th birthdays — the Class of ’74 — met for lunch on 15 June 2026 at the iconic The Starman pub, 15 Heddon St, London W1B 4BF. Bowie fans will instantly recognise the significance of the address, forever linked with the Ziggy Stardust album cover and its place in music history.

The lunch was full of easy conversation, shared memories and laughter. Stories from school days mixed with updates on families, travels and the adventures of life.

Everyone had a wonderful time, and the gathering is quickly becoming a cherished annual tradition — a chance to reconnect, reminisce and raise a glass to lifelong friendship.
